*Biscuits and Country Gravy
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Circa and I must say, their biscuits and gravy dish left me in awe. From the first bite , I knew I had found a hidden gem for breakfast lovers. The biscuits were perfectly baked . They were warm , fresh, and had just the right amount of buttery goodness. But what topped it off was the GRAVY! The gravy was rich with flavor, velvety texture and bursting with savory goodness. It was thick , creamy, and had a delightful balance of herbs and spices. The amount of sausage in the gravy added an extra layer of favor and gave it a hearty and comforting taste. Each spoonful was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. The service at Circa was exceptional. The staff was friendly,attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. In addition to the outstanding biscuits and gravy, Circa offers a diverse menu to suit every palate. Overall , I highly recommend Circa for their amazing biscuits and gravy dish. It's a must try for breakfast enthusiast's and comfort food lovers.
Dungeness Crab Cakes
Crab Cakes are simply Amazing! We had the super flavorful steak salad as well. Just a perfect diner. Staff is super friendly as well! Great experience, thank you guys!
Eggs Sardou
Ordered for Sunday brunch. Wildly impressed! First bite was the potatoes - crisp texture; perfectly cooked inside w/ butter flavor; clean. But of course the real star was the Benedict itself - I try Benedicts everywhere - and this one had the hollandaise lemon/tang flavor I'm always searching for but rarely finding. That flavor mixed w/ the brine of the artichoke heart throughout perfectly poached egg (yolk) was heaven. Finally, the mixed fruit was a refreshing shot of sweet w/ blueberries, grapefruit, pineapple, and cantaloupe. Walked in w/ no real expectation. Walked out amazed.
Dungeness Crab Cakes
Exceptional!! The crab cakes are the best I have ever had. So tasty!
Today's Soup
We did not have today's soup. We came in on jan 27th. We were seated quickly and given the specials right away. We went with the soup of the day, which was greens with lima beans and had a creamy cajun like finish. We also had one of the specials with mushrooms and some lemon zest. The red sauce had a base i couldn't put my finger on but exploded with flavors. We loved the chocolate cake, that was moist and delightfully paired with vanilla ice cream
Pan-Seared Steelhead Salad*
Perfect cooked moist salmon and crisp salad with dressing. We always eat there once a week. Circa is the best restaurant in west Seattle
Adobo Chicken Quesadilla
This quesadilla is so flavorful and delicious. On our last trip up to Seattle we ate at Circa twice and ordered this both times. It's that good!
Beecher's Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Bisque Soup
This soup is a delicatessen of creamy yumminess! The perfect balance of basil, cream and ripe tomatoes. The sandwich is incredible with gooey cheese from locals. Only the finest of ingredients and love used here! The perfect comfort food on a PNW day.
Chicken or Steelhead Piccata
This was an amazing dish! One of the best I had. Cooked to perfection! Delicious! Love it. Will be back!!!
Circa Steak Salad*
First time patron and what an amazing experience it was to have had in an a local neighborhood establishment. The service was amazing and don't get me started about the food. I ordered a steak salad everything was fresh and crisp and the meat melted in your mouth. The drinks were great and the place had the feeling of being in your mom's home for Christmas!!!!! My second home to eat at besides my own. Thank you for amazing experience!!!!!!!!
